They Had One Act and That Was To Win It All

In 2021, the Potter-Dix One Acts team ended its long dry spell of competing at State One Acts with an unforgettable performance of the play 'Chateau La Roche.' The play was directed by Beth Bogert and assisted by Val Maas and Morgan Boots. Other Important contributors with setup and takedown were Chris Bogert and Gregg Wolff. The team was named MAC Champions with many 'Outstanding Acting' awards. Both of the 'Best Actor and Actress' awards were awarded to individuals in the cast. The team then performed at a One Acts Festival in North Platte where they also received first place. In their District Competition, they were named District Champions sending their team to the State One Acts competition. At State, they performed with brilliance and excellence and landed a State-Runner Up trophy. Numerous actors and actresses were recognized for their acting talents throughout the season culminating with Gunnar O. taking home the Best Actor Award at State.
