2026 Potter-Dix Spelling Bee Results

Eighteen top spellers from grades 3-8 gathered at Dix on Tuesday, January 13th. The goal was to qualify eight students for the Cheyenne County Spelling Bee later in January. After several challenging rounds, Sarah Murphy, a 7th grader, emerged as the winner.
The eight students who will travel to Sidney to compete against students from Sidney and Leyton are Sarah Murphy, Cienna Tabor, Liam Reeve, Cooper Malone, Krickett Shoemaker, Jon Kielian, Jarrett Pelster, and Gabi Sharples.
Results from the Cheyenne County Spelling Bee will be posted when the event has been completed. Congratulations to all the participants, and Good Luck in Sidney on January 20th.
